I would imagine it would be something like a maxtor. IBM hitachi suck too.

I can't complain about maxtor drives. It has lasted longer than the seacrap drive.
Iuse the maxtor for storage. No problems . I ve had it a very very long time too lol.

Seagate piece of crap. Constantly crashing... Never again will I buy a seagate.

Western Digital is my next HD.

Best hard drives are Seagate and Western Digital.

I've had the same experience as cp, three straight Seagates crashed within a year of puchase. Each of my Maxtors (I have 10 of them) have been working for years with no hiccups.
