It's boring enough that I'm saving it for later, once a whole season or two is finished. But I've probably not given it an honest chance yet, only watch the pilot plus part of another episode.

The pilot was too long, and lacked a lot of the excitement of the original webisodes. I was really disappointed in the pilot after eagerly awaiting the show's premiere. I've enjoyed the later episodes better. I especially like the references to real historical figures, although I definitely feel that Alan Moore did it better in the comic book version of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Thumbs up, but you have to be patient to let the story build.

When the series started on the SciFi channel, I was expecting the first few episodes to be the webisodes. To my surprise the story line was different in the series than the webisodes. Some of the same story was there but with changes in the story lines. Some of the footage of Helen Magnus and John Druitt in the past is shown on later episodes instead of early episodes like it was in the webisodes. Overall, I like the show and what they've done with it. It's amazing how good the CGI sets are.

I'm also glad that I bought the HD webisodes before they took them off the website.
