This would mesh with what I have been hearing about Entertainment Rights and a few other companies (such as DIC) about trying to get their programming back on the air, we can dream cant we ha ha:

Corporate raider Carl Icahn is trying to form a faction of shareholders that would press Time Warner into a corporate restructuring, The New York Times reports.

Icahn controls a hedge fund that owns five million shares of Time Warner, which is the parent of Warner Bros. Pictures and Cartoon Network. Icahn has told other investors that the company could improve its stock price if it spun off its cable unit and bought back shares.

I'm not an Icahn fan necessarily either.

I guess its the lesser of 2 evils, at the rate we are going now 4Kids, WB and CN will all be airing the same shows which means 50000 hours of Ed, Ed and Eddie and Teen Titans mixed with Yu-Gi-Oh across 90% of the toon channels, while the other 10% is JETIX 24/7

Its amazing how crapty CN here is compared to CN in Australia (They are slowly adding Filmation toons, they JUST added Classic He-Man on 8/1 and have always had Thundercats)

CN Australia cartoon looks pretty cool. I have a friend burning me a bunch of toons from CNA. All he wants in return is some Iron Maiden music DVD's.
