Harmony Gold Representitive Kimberly Maxwell had this say about the OVA earlier last week:

"Just to clarify a few issues regarding distribution... It is customary for the Distributor in any particular market to design and implement the marketing campaign. To be sure HG will work closely with the Distrib once a deal is signed. Also, not having a Distrib at this point (late stages of post production) is not unusual. Think of all the indie films that don't get a Distributor until they go to Sundance or some other film festival or market. BTW, Scott Glasgow is recording the Prague (Czech Republic) orchestra this weekend. He will be doing it remotely via an L.A. area studio - sign o' the times. Music and sound FX final mix is next"

and also just in case you missed it the final issue in the mini series came out yesterday which means that the OVA should be along shortly as the time gap between the 2 was supposed to be quite short to capitalize on interest:

Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles
Issue #5 in stores January 18

The epic tale reaches its shocking conclusion! General Edwards' spectacular battle of defiance triggers lasting repercussions for Admiral Rick Hunter and the Robotech Expedition. Which path will humankind take as the expeditionary forces gain nearly unlimited destructive power? The die is cast for the onset of the Shadow Chronicles!

Plus, the final bonus installment of the behind-the-scenes look into the making of the upcoming "Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles"!

In a way, fans can view this as the issue that finally resolves the John and Jason Waltrip's run of Robotech II: The Sentinels, which they have worked on since its initial run in 1988.

This also leaves fans wondering when and if we will be getting a new Robotech comic in the near future, as there have no announcements to indicate as such. Perhaps a future release will depend on the of the success of The Shadow Chroincles.
