Does anyone know if there is a checklist that lists every appearance of Steve Rogers AKA Captain America in Chronolgical order?? I believe the start would be:

The adventures Of Captain America (Reprints the Faux 1940's books)

Then I believe Avengers #4

Has anyone worked out/or knows of a site. I would also love to get much of the older stuff in TPB/HC versions or reprints if avalible. As I dont have Thousands for originals lol.

This guys cover gallery has a good listing of Cap. appearances:

Not much of the Golden Age stuff has been reprinted, however the later stuff (issue #100 and up) can be had cheap.

Marvel started reprinting old title in black and white a few years ago, calling it the "Essential" line. Currently, there are 2 vols. of Cap out that reprint approximately the first 50 issues of Silver Age stuff. You can get these books cheap. Check http://www.instocktrades.com first, as they'll be the cheapest.

They run around $15 for 25 issues and they are great, as long as you don't mind the black and white.

I wonder is the golden age stuff still in-continuity?? I wonder if I should just say start with Avengers #4 when he is found in a block of Ice and start from there. It may be a little easier lol.

I know of the Essentials, I have a X-Men one didnt know they did Cap but those Black and White issues on the old newsprint type paper is hard on the eyes heh.
