During their panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta today, Cartoon Network announced Video.CartoonNetwork.com (aka Cartoon Network Video). The new online streaming video service works the same way as Toonami Jetstream. However, instead of featuring Toonami programming, this service streams original Cartoon Network productions. Included are premieres, episodes of current Cartoon Network originals, older original series such as Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls, as well as episodes of Ben 10 and Team Galaxy. Just as with Toonami Jetstream, Macintosh and Firefox users are currently not supported.
In other Cartoon Network news, with Toonami's tenth anniversary on the horizon a new look for the bloc is reportedly in the works. The look of the bloc was last revamped when Toonami moved from weekdays to Saturday evenings.
