AOL News reports that the music publishing company Bourne CO. has issued a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Fox Broadcasting, and Cartoon Network for copyright infringement over the song "When You Wish Upon a Star."

The lawsuit issued by Bourne claims that the song "I Need a Jew" which aired on the Family Guy episode "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein" was an Anti-Semetic parody of the classic Oscar winning song.

The episode didn't air when Family Guy first premiered because of its content, but appeared in the DVD box set. Cartoon Network aired the controversial episode with song in 2003 on their Adult Swim programming block.

No comments were made by Fox or Cartoon Network as of yet.

Bourne is the sole U.S. Copyright owner of "When You Wish Upon a Star."
