Waaaay back in August we reported that Paramount Home Entertainment and Comedy Central had announced a December 18th release of Robert Smigel's TV Funhouse. Several readers (our thanks to each of you) have written in, reminding us that this is supposed to be out next week, and wondering why they don't see it up for sale anywhere.

We checked with both the studio and with our retailer sources. The item is no longer on Paramount's DVD schedule, and our friends in the retail world inform us that the item was actually pulled quite some time ago...almost immediately after first being listed. No reason was available for the cancellation, and no word on whether it will ever return to the schedule.

Our apologies for not telling you about it sooner; we simply overlooked it. If this returns to the schedule, then we'll certainly let you know as soon as we can, so stay tuned!
