* TNT's live-action Witchblade series is apparently headed for DVD. Top Cow publisher Filip Sablik confirmed for The Continuum that Top Cow has been contacted for interviews for a DVD package.

Witchblade, which starred Yancy Butler, aired two seasons on TNT.

* Top Cow Productions has announced that Mel Caylo has assumed the role of vice president of marketing and sales, where he will take over for Filip Sablik, who has been promoted to publisher.

Good show and was canceled early, due to issues with the show star Yancey Butler (I think).

Really good show. I read the show was canceled to make room for another Law and Order show and Law & Order reruns despite great ratings.

Yancy does have a bit of a drinking problem.

The drinking was what I remember the show being canceled for.

I have my Witchblade set that I dumped to DVD and never authored from my Master VHS tapes. My cable went through a bad period were TNT looked liked crap. You can see the grain pulsate in and out. Season 2 looks better. I moved by then.

You're more than welcome to them if you just want to watch them.

I was going to make a nice restored Witchblade set between mine and Greg's set. I won't need to now if it's being released on retail.

I have a set of Witchblade, I think it is on 12 discs! Phillip, I don't believe it was drinking, but drugs that brought the end of Yancy Butler's acting career at least temporary. I remember seeing her mugshot and she looked really scary!
