I have a DR-M10 Stuck on Loading for the longest time. i called jvc and they said it would cost 65$ just for them to look at it. this wasnt the service center that told me this but the direct jvc customer service line. does anyone know how to temp fix this i can get it out of this mode and paying more then i bought it for isnt worth it to me.

JVC should still be fixing these for free -- ask for supervisors continuously until you get that.

The two main reason a JVC flash the generic "LOADING" error message is
(1) it is overheating from too much continuous use, or
(2) the disc is bad -- blank or not.

In most cases, simply unplugging the unit for a little while will fix it. Also remove the disc.

There is a chance the drive itself has died and needs to be replaced (simple fix). In other cases, a capacitor has given out on the board, often seen leaking or bulging. For anybody with electronics experience, this is a relatively easy swap and re-solder.
