Just brought the complete TF Headmasters release today, and i am impressed with the release.

Box art is very nice, the discs cover art is ok. Sound and picture is perfect, but i wouldn't expect less from metrodome.

The collection not only has the English Dubbed version, but you can also choose to watch it in japanese with english subs. The 3rd option is to have it with audio commentary done by Chris McFeely.

The dvd rom content has the new script translations.

The booklet included, includes a episode guide, japanese-English translations of characters and a brief history about the series and its origin. including about the english & japaense audio versions.

In the booklet it mentions about masterforce and victory. As the box set is called The Takara collection vol 1. Then it looks like masterforce and victory is also going to be released as well.(yay)

About the release (typed from page 2 of the booklet)-

"This DVD set makes use of the original Japanese animation, so the orignal opening and ending sequences are preserved. There is a little bit missing from the episodes themselves - orignally, each episode ended with a preview of the next one, but these previews wern't included in the master copies used for this release.

Similarly, a few episodes also possessed short sequences before their title cards, which are also missing - in most cases, though, they were just recaps of previous episodes, so all in all, when you have the whole series at your fingertips, it's not much of a loss, eh?

Special attention much be drawn to the first episode, however, which featured a brief sequence before its titled card that featured new animation, summarised past events and revealed the exstence of the Autobot base on Athenia. But now that you've read this, you're all clued in. Ain't booklets grand?

Overall defiently worth having for any Transformers fans.

Chris McFeely runs http://www.thetransformers.net/ , he has also been on seibertron.com and some others during the whole process showing fans the preview discs as well as notes, subs, and other information to get TF fans to import this set in all countries and show Metrodome its worth $$$

Its been a big buzz for the last 2 months since this Headmaster release came out of nowhere, Metrodome coupled it with the Remastered Movie release as far as promotion was going
